FRANCES MAUDE SENSKA

A childhood in Africa, Navy discipline as a Wave, and layers of art education would all shape a life devoted to art. Though many know her as the ‘grandmother of ceramics’ in Montana, Frances played her hand in a diverse field of media throughout the years including drawing, painting, wardrobe tailor, woodcarving, enamelware, silversmith, lithography, and extensively the ceramic artist that touched and influenced generations.
